I have found that this sled rides and handles better than any Yamaha before its time. I do feel however that it is not as durable (chassis wise) as the older sleds (maybe because you can beat it twice as hard).
At 2200 miles it runs flawless, but the paint on the rear suspension is paper thin and is already rusting. I found two bent bolts on the front suspension along with worn suspension bushings (I never hit anything).
They should have more grease certs in the front suspension and used better paint on the suspension parts. The rear shock is too light for any rider over 170lbs.
Upgrades/Accessories: 5.5 mono spring... 144 studs, 8 inch carbides..
